In the Simple Past Tense<\/strong>, the action is simply mentioned and understood to have taken place in the past. The action started<\/strong> and ended<\/strong> same time in the past but the time may or may not be mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We use the Simple Past Tense to express a completed<\/strong> action in the past, it means the action happened and completely finished in the past. And it is usually used with real time expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
